En raison de sa meilleure r\u00e9sistance thermique par rapport au polystyr\u00e8ne, le SAN est souvent pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 pour l&#8217;emballage alimentaire, pharmaceutique et cosm\u00e9tique, ainsi que pour la fabrication de pi\u00e8ces pour l&rsquo;industrie automobile.<\/p><p>Le copolym\u00e8re styr\u00e8ne-acrylonitrile est obtenu par copolym\u00e9risation radicalaire statistique avec l&rsquo;acrylonitrile. Avec un taux de motifs AN situ\u00e9 entre 10 et 40%.<br \/><br \/>le SAN est un mat\u00e9riau tr\u00e8s rigide et plus dur que le polystyr\u00e8ne. Il fait partie de la famille des polym\u00e8res styr\u00e9niques, comme le polystyr\u00e8ne homopolym\u00e8re et l&rsquo;acrylonitrile butadi\u00e8ne styr\u00e8ne.<\/p><p>Le SAN est utilis\u00e9 pour la fabrication de diverses pi\u00e8ces telles que les blocs optiques arri\u00e8re pour l&rsquo;automobile, les bo\u00eetiers pour l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrom\u00e9nager, les roues de compteurs, les bo\u00eetiers de batterie, les r\u00e8gles de mesure, etc. <br \/><br \/>Il est \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 pour sa transparence, sa r\u00e9sistance aux rayures et sa r\u00e9sistance aux agents chimiques.
